About Me

I'm Nurse Mandie Roe, a local mom and a Registered Nurse with over 22 years of experience in women and children's health. My career has spanned across labor and delivery, newborn nursery, school nursing, and nursing education. 

Consistently pursuing the advancement of my education and skills, I've acquired certification as an independent Safe Sitter Instructor. I've been thrilled to teach youth in our community these vital skills and launch my own business!

As a parent and nurse, I am passionate about teaching choking rescue and CPR to older children responsible for younger siblings at home, as well as those new to babysitting. The peace of mind it brings is incredibly reassuring! 

More specifically, I chose the materials provided by SafeSitter.org as they deeply resonate with me, focusing on essential skills in first aid, understanding different age groups of children, and effective strategies for each.

All teaching materials are 100% supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association with a central focus on keeping both my students and the children they care for SAFE!! 

I've observed that students who have taken my course gain newfound confidence in their skills and an increased sense of appreciation when caring for younger children. 

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am honored to be the spouse of a retired Air Force veteran, fostering a life enriched with experiences from various locations across our great nation.  

As the mother of two wonderful children, aged 8 and 17, and caretaker of two delightful Jack Russells, I embrace diversity and challenges life presents with gratitude.
